Jake Meeking, who’s playing at this year’s Concert at the Kings, will be playing an intimate short performance on Saturday 3 May 2014 outside Sound Knowledge in Hughenden Yard, Marlborough.
It’s a free performance of about 30 minutes and will start at about 3.30pm.
This is a great opportunity to see Jake before the concert at the end of the month.
Jake Meeking’s debut offering, ‘Walking on my Own’, brings together sounds, feelings and tones with an alternative “jazzy blues” twist. Already making an impact on the South West and Bath music scene, ‘Walking on my Own’ will continue to make its mark on the UK.
Here’s what reviewers are saying:
“Moody minimalism, with a crisp, precise delivery”
“His tone is superb and phrasing well-practiced. He certainly knows what he’s doing with an axe.”
